Tracy Lee Jackson
Funeral services for Tracy Lee Jackson, 61, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home and Crematory conducted by the Rev. Leonard Ezell, pastor of Northwest Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Lone Cedar Cemetery.
A time of visitation and support for family and friends will be from 6 to 7 this evening at Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home.
The son of Joseph and Jo Vivian (North) Jackson, Tracy was born February 28, 1952, at Ardmore; he died here Monday, August 12, 2013.
A graduate of Plainview High School the Class of 1970, he was of Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. He had been an employee of the Joe Brown Company for 20 years.
A veteran of the U.S. Army, Tracy served during the Vietnam War and for his service was awarded the Army Service Ribbon, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and was rated Expert with the rifle.
He is survived by Sharon Faulkner of the home; his mother, Jo Vivian Jackson; sisters Barbara Jackson, Carol and John Conrad, all of Ardmore.
His father, Joe, preceded him in death, as well as his grandparents, Roy and Viola North and John and Jewel Jackson.
Honorary bearers include Rodney L. Richards, Eddie Barker, Kenneth Dale Jackson, John D. Jackson, Alan Henry and Greg Thurman.
Military Honors will be provided by members of the U.S. Army.
