Mr. Horton was born in Chandler and lived in the Fort Worth area for 60 years. He was retired from Carter Day Co.
Mr. Horton was a Mason and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers union.
Survivors: Two sons, Willard "Sonny" Horton of Sand Springs, Okla., and Jerry Horton of Keller; daughter, Mary Sue Lawhon of Yoakum; two brothers, Billy Charles Horton of Garden Grove, Calif., and Boy Blue Horton of Gilmer; sister, Bobby Precourt of Fort Worth; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
