Margaret Arleen Collins, 75, died Saturday in a local hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory, with the Rev. H.B. Terry officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Memorial Park.

Mrs. Collins was born in Little Rock, Ark., and graduated from Bartlett High School in Bartlett, Tenn. She was a homemaker and moved to Abilene in 1946 from Memphis, Tenn. She was active in Abilene Baptist Social Ministry. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and was the widow of Clark Collins Jr., whom she married in 1942 in Hernando, Miss.

Survivors include two sons, Clark Collins III of Conroe and Earnest Wayne Collins of Potosi; two daughters, Sharon Elizabeth White of Justin and Margaret Yvonne Livingston of Clyde; three sisters, Elizabeth Baker of Memphis, Tenn., Lucille Briley of Abilene and Louise Alexsick of Santa Rosa, Calif.; one brother, James Clyde "Jim" Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to Second Baptist Church, 901 Victoria, Abilene 79603.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
