Patricia L. Pyle, 79, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Oklahoma City with her family by her side. She was born September 18, 1933, the daughter of Irus U. and Emma A. Roso Thomas. On August 25, 1952 she married Frank Earl Pyle, Jr. in Oklahoma City, OK.
She enjoyed her work as a secretary for Oklahoma City Public Schools. After her retirement, she loved spending time traveling in her RV with Frank and caring for her grandchildren. She was an active member of both Portland Avenue Baptist Church and Council Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank; and a son, Danny.
She is survived by her aunt, Dorothy Roso; daughter, Cindy Sims; son, Gordon and wife Gerry; grandchildren, Tana and husband Josh, Jeff, Cassidy, Gordie, Rory and wife Taylor, Micah and husband Chris; and seven great grandchildren.
Viewing will be from 9am to 9pm on Tuesday at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service with the family present from 7 – 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Mercer-Adams Chapel. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
