Ronald Dale Mahan, 56, beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away Friday, August 9, 2013 at his home in Dadeville Alabama while surrounded by family and friends.

He was survived by his loving wife: Shawn Mahan, stepson: Evan Godwin and his wife Samantha of Valley, Al., stepdaughter: Kate Tuft and her husband Justin of Opelika, Al. and four grandchildren. Mr. Mahan is also survived by his brother: Lonnie Mahan, 71, of Lubbock, Tx., sister: Jo Ann Jones, 67, of West Valley City, Ut., sister, Carolyn Hass,65, of McAlester, Ok., brother: Lester Mahan,64, of Cheyenne Wy. and brother Bobby Mahan,60, of Lubbock, Tx.

Mr. Mahan was preceded in death by parents: Leslie and Frances Mahan and brother Ray Mahan of Idalou, Tx.

Master Chief Ronald Mahan will receive full military honors at Alabama National Cemetery at Montevallo, Al. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. Alabama Funeral Homes and Cremation Centers of Dadeville Al. is handling arrangements. www.alabamafuneralhomes.com
