JOSEPH EDWARD MOSER, 606 Washington Ave., died at Washington County Hospital yesterday at 10 am, aged 72. He had been injured in a fall at his home on July 26.


Born and reared in Sabillasville, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Jane (McClane) Moser, and had resided in this city for 50 years.


For many years he was employed by the Western Maryland Railway, and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Men's Bible Class, and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.


Surviving are wife, Sally E. Moser; son, Charles Lewis Moser, with the armed forces in Germany; sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bierly, Blue Ridge Summit; Mrs. Blanche Wise, Sabillasville; and brother, William Moser, Sabillasville.


Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church on Sunday at 4 pm, the Rev. Dr. J. Edward Harms officiating, assisted by the Rev. G. I. Rider. Interment in Rose Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by A. K. Coffman Funeral Home.
