Haynie, age 82, died peacefully in Bend on Tuesday, August 6. He was born in Buffalo, TX and served for twenty-three and one half years with the United States Air Force retiring in 1974. He and his wife Britomarte Darlene (Van Leuven) were married for sixty years, having married in Bend in 1953. He also worked for Fuqua Mobile Homes and retired from there after twenty years. He found enjoyment in hunting, fishing and camping as recreational activities. His survivors include his wife, Bristomarte; son, David; two daughters, Debbie and Terri; two sisters, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 12, 2013 at Deschutes Memorial Gardens, 63875 N. Hwy 97, Bend.
