A funeral service will be 1:00 pm Monday at Immanuel Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson served her country in the United States Marine Corps. She was a member of the Learning Disability Association, the PAL Group of Eden, and Immanuel Baptist Church. She was the recipient of WFMY "Two Those Who Care Award"
She was preceded in death by her husband Lewis "Paul" Jackson, sister Barbara Freeman, and granddaughter Angel Leah Brown.
She is survived by her son James Brown, Jr. of Archdale, and three nephews.
The family will receive friends 3:00 pm-5:00 pm Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
