She was born on July 23, 1939 to the late William J. and Minnie (Day) Pippin.
Nancy worked at Foster Forbes Glass Factory.
Survivors include daughter, Penny Dodson, Marion; sister, Nyoka Durieux, Marion; grandson, Robbie Ashmore, Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Minnie Pippin; and brother, Delzie Barker.
Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013 in Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., with Rev. Larry Baughman officiating. Burial is in Grant Memorial Park.
Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home
