Michelle Leigh Daniels (Cunningham) passed away on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013. She was 36 years old and lived with her husband, DJ Daniels, and 8-year-old daughter Shea Leigh in Chino Valley, Ariz.
Michelle fought a long and painful battle with breast cancer for seven years. Now she has no pain.
Born in Greensboro, N.C. on March 26, 1977, then raised with her sister in Soldotna, Alaska. Soldotna was her hometown.
Michelle met DJ in 1994 and they married in 2001. Shea Leigh was born in 2004. Michelle worked at Fortner Aerospace for eight years and loved fishing, camping, shopping and lunch with Shea, gardening, and most of all cooking.
She is survived by husband DJ Daniels; daughter Shea Leigh; father Gary Cunningham; mother Rita Cunningham; father-in-law Jerry Daniels; mother-in-law Darlene Daniels; her brothers by marriage, David (Melissa) Daniels, Derek Daniels, and Daren (Janet) Daniels; the "greatest Grandma Myrtle Warter"; nieces Emily and Taylor; and nephews Jason, Troy, and Garrett. She was preceded in death by her sister, Danielle Montgomery (Cunningham).
A celebration of her life will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at the Calvary Chapel, 2313 E. Highway 69 (across from Lowes) in Prescott, Ariz. In lieu of flowers, Michelle would wish to pay it forward.
Hampton Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
