Of Green Valley, AZ Passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, at the age of 93. He was born on May 18, 1920 in Jackson, MI, the son of Edgar and Margarette (Boyd) Horton. Bruce is survived by his step-daughter, Margaret (Marty) Cutler of Marana, AZ; brother, Robert E. (Mike) Horton of Parma, MI; many nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Esther; his daughters, Carole Jean Martin and Maxine Roberge; step-daughter, Carolyn Hammond; brothers, Harold, Gerald, Sam and Byrun Horton. Bruce built power sub-stations in the Midwest and Saudi Arabia. He was a long-time resident of Parma, MI. Bruce traveled the world with his wife, Esther. He and his wife were very active in their community of Arivaca, AZ in the restoration of the historical old school house and raising funds for the Fire Department, Library, and Medical Clinic. He was very talented with his woodwork. Bruce was a 60-year member of the Parma Masonic Lodge #183 and a member of the I.B.E.W. Local #876. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Services will be held at the J. L. Watson Parma Chapel on Saturday, August 17, 2013
