Aaron Nash , son of Ephraim Nash and Joanna Smith Nash of Granby, Massachusetes, was born 23 of Feb 1712. His occupation was a joiner and house carpenter. He married Damaris Waite of Northampton on Dec 2, 1736 in Granby, Hampshire Co., Mass.

Aaron Nash was a active, enterprizing man, frequently a prominent actor in town affairs. He was one of the Selectmen of the town of Granby 7 March 1770, and together with his brother Lient. Eleazer Nash, town surveyer, laid out the roads for the town. The last time he is mentioned in the Granby records is in a record of a town meeting, 10 Jan. 1774, of which Aaron Nash was moderator.

He must have removed to Brattlebrough, Vermont soon afterward, as his first deed of purchase there(of John Houghton) is dated 4th of May, 1774.

Aaron died in 1774 in Brattlebrough and there is no record of his or his wife's death.

1. Damaris Nash - born 10 November 1737. She married Rev. Titus Smith. She died 1779.

2. Phebe Nash - born 22 March 1738-9 and died in 1796. She was married to William Williams.

3. Aaron Nash - born March 24 1741 and died 1827.

4. Sarah Nash - born 27 Dec. 1741 and died 1827. She was married to John Ellis.

5. Moses Nash - born 10 November 1750 and died 1821. He settled in Brattlebrough.

6. Oliver Nash - born 22 August 1752 and died 1835. He settled in Ellisburg, New York.

7. Ebenezer Nash - born 20 July 1756 and settled in Brattlebrough.
