ROBERT EDWARD DALTON OF PAROWAN DIES
Robert Edward Dalton, 71, of Parowan, died Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Hyrum Harris, 136 First Avenue, following a three months illness. A native and lifelong resident of Parowan, he was born on January 27, 1872 a son of Edward Meeks and Emily Stevens Dalton. He was a shoemaker by occupation. He is survived by two sons, Edward M. Dalton of Delta and William M. Dalton of Ogden; four daughters, Mrs. Harris, Mrs. Mark Hammond and Miss Myra Dalton all of Salt Lake and Mrs. Lawrence Adams of Parowan; two brothers, Joseph B. Dalton and John S. Dalton, both of Parowan; 16 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Dalton went to Parowan Tuesday and will remain until after the funeral.
