Garrett Rites Set
Charles F. Garrett, 89, Havre, died Thursday in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Sixth Avenue Christian Church. Interment will be in Highland cemetery.
Garrett was born in Salem, Missouri, June 10, 1885, and was married to Octavia Williams in Havre, Feb. 20, 1910. He homesteaded near Fort Benton in 1909 and in later years operated a dairy near Havre and in 1945 bought a motel which he operated until his retirement.
Garrett is survived by three children, Mrs. Peter D. Friesen, Earl Garrett and Mrs. Walter Klundt. His wife died May 15, 1966.
