Rachel Dan Melson "Ray" Sept. 6, 1922~Aug. 7, 2013 Resident of Lower Lake, Ca. Rachel "Ray" Dan Melson - 91 years old, residence of Lower Lake, Calif. But spent almost 40 years living in Martinez, Calif. Working as Auto Body Repair, until retiring to Lower Lake, Calif. Passed away of Heart Attach on Wednesday Aug. 7, 2013, at his home in Lower Lake, Calif. Ray was born Sept.6, 1922, at Blue, Oklahoma. His main hobbies were hunting and fishing. He was preceded by his wife Edna Lucille Schmitz who passed on June 12, 1990. They were married on Dec. 11, 1945 in Oklahoma. He is survived by 3-sons - Henry Anthony Melson, Dennis Ray Melson, Gary Don Melson, and 1 daughter- Sharon Elaine "Melson" Tyler. 4-Grand Children-Kimberly Deeann "Melson" Vialpando, Brie Danielle Melson, Anthony Ray "Marks" Vavrick, Crystal Jo "Wolfe" VanDyke. 4- Great Grand Children - Dylan Anthony VanDyke, Anabelle Rae VanDyke, Markie Lucelia Vialpando, and Emilie Deeann Vialpando. He will also be missed by his dog "Hobo. Visitation will be held on August 15th from 3~8 PM at Connolly & Taylor Chapel , Graveside services will be held on August 16th at Memory Garden Cemetery, 2011 Arnold industrial way, Concord.
