Anna married John Frisby on April 20, 1865. This was right after the Civil War had ended, and it is assumed that John who was a teamster in a civilian capacity for the Union troops had perhaps just arrived home. 1845 - 1850 encompassed the period of the Great Potato Famine in Ireland. No doubt, both John and Anna immigrated to the United States in search of the, "Promised land." Anna arrived in McHenry Co. in 1853. Anna had several children.

Daughter of Michael Noonan from Cappagh townland in Gaulskill civil parish, Kilkenny, Ireland and Ellen Murphy of Narrabane townland in Kilmacow civil parish, Kilkenny, Ireland. They were married on 3 Feb 1834.
