Mark J. Scouten, 30, of 806 Franklin Street Road, Skaneateles, died Sunday at Community-General Hospital.
A native of Northfield, Vt., Mr. Scouten resided most of his life in Skaneateles. He was a merchandising manager and buyer with J.C. Penney Co., Massena. Mr. Scouten was a 1982 graduate of Skaneateles High School and a 1985 graduate of Arizona State University.
Mr. Scouten was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Church, Skaneateles.
Surviving are his parents, Kenneth R. and Teresa M. Scouten of Skaneateles a brother, Carl R. of Tully; his paternal grandmother, Edna J. Scouten of Skaneateles; and two nephews.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Mary's of the Lake Church, the Rev. Raymond Wood officiating.
