She was a trained nurse and her husband was a graduate of Johns Hopkins School of Engineering. Went by the name of Aunt Tudd and is called Ann.

Here is a poem she shared with me November 1, 2004:

Family Circle

When a child, I heard my father pray
These are the words, he'd so often say:
May our family circle unbroken be
When we come to dwell with Thee
Both pleasing and acceptable to Thy way
In all we do and think and say

Kneeling there on the kitchen floor
Just wanting to run out the door
My ears didn't listen on even hear
Those words so wonderfully dear

Now, that I 'm older and wiser, too
I pray the same as my father would do
Now, I plead for a circle unbroken
In the same words that dad had spoken
I'm sure that in my sillier youth
My heart heard these words of truth

May all our circles be complete and true
When, at last, we all come home to You
Susanna K. Hooper - Age 87

Aunt Ann has joined the rest of her brothers and sisters; she died yesterday (Friday, January 11, 2008).. They are having a "gathering" for her on Monday, and then she will be taken to Baltimore to be buried next to Uncle Bill. Sylvia reminded me that Aunt Ann was always the "pokey" one according to our Grandmother; that is, she was always the last one in and Grandma had to hold the door open for her. Now, Grandma can close the door. Love, peace and blessings to all of you. Let's be sure to keep the family together and stay in touch; our parents would want that, as do I. Marj
