Charles Hicks 1842 was the son of Rebecca Hicks & unknown father, grandson of Charles & Rebecca Gibson Hicks. He married Polly Ann Conley. The cemetery is in the head of Stella's Lane, Softshell, Knott Co., Ky. When you get to the head of Stella's Lane, there is a Conley Cemetery beside of a house, from that cemetery go straight up the hill to the third flat to the Hicks cemetery. There is a dirt road you can take a four wheeler up around the left side.

Gravesite Details
When my brother and I visited about five years ago, the weeds and brush had been cleared, but you could see the from the pictures the cemetery is not taken care of very well.
