Raymond Lee Whitehead, age 85, died Saturday, June 23, 2012, at Springfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, in Springfield, Kentucky. He was born on March 13, 1927, to the late Sidney and Mary Groves Whitehead. He was a member of Augusta Church of the Nazarene and Gideons International for 57 years. He was head of Quality Control at Browning’s and retired after 37 years of service.

He is survived by: his wife, Eva Mae Edwards Whitehead, who he married June 17, 1950; three daughters, Anita Kay Crouch, of Clearwater, Florida, Donna Rae Whitehead, of Augusta, and Jeana Ruth Crouch, of Springfield, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Angie Myers, Tina Dickmann, Jim Crouch, Chris Colemire, Matthew Crouch, Jennifer Crouch and Danny Crouch; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: a granddaughter, Joy Wagner; three sisters; and two brothers.
