Mr. Clinton Rowe Fisher, 66, of Winston-Salem died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, unexpectedly at his home. Mr. Fisher was born in Rowan County Sept. 12, 1934, to Pauline Koon Fisher and the late Clinton Rowe Fisher. He was preceded in death by his father. He attended Lenoir Rhyne College and retired from RJR Tobacco Co. in 1987. He served in the U.S. Army 1955-1957. Surviving are his wife Mary Helen Fisher of the home; one daughter, Anne Smith of Winston-Salem; one son, Clinton Scott Fisher of Lowgap; three grandchildren, Lindsey, Chelsea and Brandon Smith of Winston-Salem; his mother Pauline K. Fisher; one brother, David Monroe Fisher of Jamestown; and two sisters, Karen Fisher Preddy and Carol Fisher Carter of Thomasville. There will be a graveside service 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Stephen Gerhard officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 25086 Winston-Salem, NC 27114. Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is serving the family.
