She and Job are the parents of five children; James, b. Sept. 1869, Charles, b. Nov. 2, 1872, Jay B., b. Nov. 9, 1874, Clara Essie, b. Aug. 10, 1876 and Letta Belle, b. Sept. 29, 1878. All of the births other than Letta's were documented in "Birth Records of Henry County, Ohio Vol.1, (1867-1877)". Letta's birth date came from searching in "Family Search", and it's noted that it came from "Ohio, County Births, 1841-2003".
Laura and Job removed to Michigan sometime after 1880. They are in Ohio in the 1880 census, but without any 1890 census, they can't be found and documented. However, again using "Family Search", Charles, their son, was shown being married in Clearwater Township, Kalkaska County, Michigan, so it's assumed that that's where they were living. Laura's husband Job (also known as Jobe) died in 1899, and is buried in the Clearwater Township Cemetery in Rapid City, Kalkaska County, Michigan. It is not known if Laura is buried there too, but let's assume she is. Another unfortunate fact is that the death date of Laura, January 1, 1887, is not known for sure. Her date of death was taken from a website maintained by Judi Burns - http://freepages.history.rootsweb.com/~jameseastonburns/emery.htm. I have reservations on some the data that I have found documented there. However, without anything else to go on, I'll go with the date of 1-1-1887 which means Laura died at the very young age of 43 years, 3 months and 7 days. What a shame to have died so young with five children ranging in age from 18 down to 9.

To appease contributor #47489321, I have changed her date of death from 1/1/1887 to 1/1/1881 and the burial site to Hoy Cemetery.
