Larry attended the First Assembly of God Church in Anchorage when he was able and attended the local schools throughout the years. Attending Bowman Elementary Pre-School, Rabbit Creek Elementary, Mears Middle School and graduating from Dimond High School in 2011.
In 1998 Larry was granted a "Make A Wish" trip to Canada to see his favorite character "Barney", The big purple dinosaur was his most beloved companion whom he loved to watch videos of for hours. On this trip he also got to ride in a Limousine for the first and only time and see his first Hockey game which he absolutely loved. This would be Larry's last trip on an airplane and out of state due to his medical condition changing and not permitting him to go very far away from home.
Larry spent many stays at Providence Medical Center where the nurses, Doctors and staff became his special friends giving him very loving care whenever he had to stay there. He routinely visited the Cystic Fibrosis Center with Dr. Dion Roberts being his "special" doctor. When his medical condition prevented him from moving out of state with the Lange family his new home become St. Elias Specialty Hospital for the last two years of his life. The staff there also gave him the tender loving care he needed during his time there.
Larry touched so many life's and will be greatly missed.
