Mrs. Harper retired from the Hattiesburg Clinic. She graduated from USM with a BS in Medical Technology. She was a member of Hardy Street Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, T.R. and Bonnie Hamilton Cooksey and one brother, Thomas R. Cooksey, Jr.
Mrs. Harper is survived by her husband, James R. Harper; two sons, Alan Harper and Brian (Jennifer) Harper, both of Hattiesburg; one daughter, Bonnie (D.J.) Smith of Hattiesburg; one sister, Orr Lyn Lambert of Hattiesburg and seven grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214.
Visitation will be 9:30 A.M. Monday at Hulett-Winstead Funeral Home."
