Myrtle O. Harlan, 71, died August 8th at the Converse County Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of William and Georgia Howard, pioneer residents of the Upper LaPrele community. Mrs. Harlan lived in Casper most of her adult life, but had resided in Douglas for the past several years. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Harlan, and nine brothers and sisters. (Information was obtained from her obituary.)
