Ted was a self-employed farmer and logger.
He was a member of the Sugar River Grange in North Charlestown for 60 years, the Sullivan County Chapter of the NH Timberland Owners Association, a member of the American Tree Farm System and had belonged to the North Charlestown Methodist Church.
Ted is survived by his wife, Nancy Louise (Pelkey) Walker of North Charlestown, whom he married on May 2, 1953 and they had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year; one son, Robert Walker of Yarmouth, MA; one daughter, Karen Schumacher of Ann Arbor, MI; three grandchildren, Mary Walker, Robert S. Walker and Zoe Schumacher; two great grandchildren, Michaela Walker and Marty Walker; two very special young adults, Elizabeth Kern and Michael Kern; three sisters, Robert Callum of Unity, Virginia Brisson of Nashua, Shirley Dunn of Keene; one sister-in-law, Pat Walker of Claremont, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was pre-deceased by a stillborn son, Matthew Lyman Walker in 1969 and a brother, Franklin Walker on August 7, 2012.
Interment will be in Hope Hill Cemetery in Charlestown, NH
