two terms on the Pickens County Council (one of which was as a charter member); Pickens County Supervisor; the first Liberty Rural Fire Board; and on the Board of Directors for the Farm Bureau, where he was a Past President.
Norman was also a member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Survived by his wife; a daughter and son-in-law; a son; four brothers and a sister; and two grandchildren.
Predeceased by a brother, Jerry Langston.
Funeral services: Sunday, August 11, 2013 at East Side Baptist Church.
Burial: Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
