Jill A. White, 64, of Monticello died at 11:40 am, Saturday, July 20, 2013 at her residence following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born September 10, 1948 in Kokomo. On July 27, 1968, she married the love of her life, Danny L. White at the Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo and he survives.

She was a 1967 graduate of Kokomo High School and worked primarily as a homemaker. She was co-owner with her husband, Danny, of White Enterprises, a boat storage and repair business located in Reynolds. She had worked part time at Indiana Beach. She also worked part time for both Robert Christopher and George Loy Law Practices. She was a dedicated member of Zeta Chi Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed flower gardening, decorating, knitting, and traveling to many time share destinations with her husband. Above all other joys of her life, she treasured her family. There was no greater love than the love she shared with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her entire family. She was the fiber that held the family together. She always put others first and always had a kind word for everyone. On several occasions, she acted as a caregiver assisting others nearing the end of their own lives.

In addition to her husband, Danny, she is survived by her mother, Barbara Ann (Hodges) Grigsby of Tavares, Florida; three sons, Doug (Denise) White of Kokomo, Chris (Misty) White of Monticello, Eric White (fiancé Katie Pfledderer) of Carmel; sister, Penny (Walter) Sterling-Plummer of Tavares, Florida; two brothers, Steven Windle of St. Paul, Minnesota, Jeff (Kelly) Drullinger of Leesburg, Florida; and four grandchildren, Tyler, Gavin, Rylee, and Trevor.

She was preceded in death by her father Harold T. Windle.
