Capt. William Hodges departed this life on Sunday, the 13th day of October, 1886, at the residence of his uncle Judge Asa Hodges, near the town of Marion, in Crittenden Co., Arkansas. His disease was paralysis. Capt. Hodges was born in this county. He was the son of Col. Fleming Hodges, once a resident and merchant in this place. And he was the grandson of Hon.
