Funeral services will be held today, Sept. 11, 2005, at 3 p.m. at Bald Mountain Baptist Church in West Jefferson, N.C. Burial will follow in the Bald Mountain Cemetery with military rites. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Brady was born to Guy and Carrie Brady of East Hickory, Pa., on Nov. 19, 1921. He is preceded in death by his parents and one son, Gary Brady.
Mr. Brady is survived by his wife, Dessie Trammell Brady; one daughter, Janet Pope of Jefferson, N.C.; two sisters, Ruth Matice and Lois Fultz, both of Meadeville, Pa.; one brother, Byron Brady of Idaho Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
