Incomplete information reaches us of the death of Davis Cason, at his home near Raiford, Tuesday evening, July 24th. His death is said to have been caused by blood poisoning, the result of a wound in the hand received while butchering some time ago.
Of near relatives he leaves his widow and four children to mourn his untimely departure. The interment took place at Sapp cemetery Thursday.
Mr. Cason was a quiet, industrious man, whose labor and good management had brought him economical independence. He was upright in his dealings, lenient and kind-hearted, thereby gaining him many friends, who will bless his memory.
