Dayna Lou Riemer, age 62, was called to her salvation on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers with her family by her side.

Dayna was born on September 27, 1950 to William and Esther (Habermann) Schmidt of Collins. Dayna was a graduate of Valders High School. On April 21, 1979 she was united in marriage to Ronald Riemer. She worked many years for Chiltonware Corporation, Chilton, and Contract Stitching in St. Nazianz. She was a member of St. Peters Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aide, the Church Choir, and the Collins Homemakers Club. Dayna enjoyed playing sheepshead and going on cruises to the Caribbean.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald of Collins; her brother and sister-in-law: Kenton (Mary Ann) Schmidt of Manitowoc; brother-in-law: Howard (Beverly) Riemer of New Holstein; sister-in-law: Jackie (Donald) Kriescher of Kewaunee; aunt and uncle: Eunice and Robert Kock of Lake City, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Dayna was preceded in death by her parents William and Esther Schmidt, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Marvin and Selma Riemer, brother-in-law: Harold Riemer and other relatives.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Robert Hankwitz with burial to follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Collins.
