Entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, Mr. Edward J. "Bo" Harris, age 83, of Graniteville, S.C., husband of the late Jeanne Thurmond Harris and son of the late William M. Harris and the late Alberta Pledger Harris.
He is survived by a daughter, Jackie (Charlie) Padgett of Graniteville; sons, Eddie Harris and Keith (Vicky) Harris both of Graniteville; grandchildren, Stephanie (Reggie) Widener, Rev. Jody (Michelle) Padgett, Samantha Beard and Jerry Beard; nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Christian Heritage Church in Graniteville with Rev. Stephen Phillips, and grandsons, Rev. Jody Padgett and Rev. Reggie Widener officiating. The interment will follow at the Graniteville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening, January 29th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Christian Heritage Church.
Memorials, in Bo's honor, may be made to Christian Heritage Youth Aflame, Box 237, Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
