HERBERT A. BARRETT
Born March 10, 1921 Hydro, Ok., went to be with his Lord Aug 3, 2013. His family moved to Riverside in 1928. Herbert worked for many years at Face Market in Riverside and was known for his great selection of produce, only the finest. Later, he became a manager for Michaels Market. He loved the Lord, his family and his sweetheart. He was a man of his word, who once a promise was given, it was kept. He loved to fish! He was fun loving, enjoyed a good joke and was always there for someone in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and his smile will forever warm our hearts. There will never be another like him! His wife of 72 years, Doris Marion Barrett; daughters, Sharon Wisner, Sandra Stewart and Ann Gardenhire; sons, Mark and Tim; sons-in-law, Dale Wisner, Ed Stewart and Freddy Gardenhire; daughter-in-law, Judy Barrett; and 16 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren survive him. Services will be held Friday, August 9, 2013 privately at Olivewood Cemetery. Published in Press-Enterprise on August 8, 2013.
