MARGARET LOUISE "AUNT AUGGIE" BLANTON, 89, of Linton, Indiana passed away at 4:49 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2013 in Greene County General Hospital in Linton, IN.
She was born June 14, 1924 in Jasonville, IN to Elmer Blanton and Pearl (Wolfe) Blanton.
Survivors include her sister & brother-in-law, Patricia A. & Edward C. Simon of Linton, IN; sister-in-law, Peggy Anne Blanton of Beaverton, OR; nieces, Toni B. Davis of Beaverton, OH and Margaret Ann Simon of Linton, IN; nephews, Jim & Margaret E. Bastain of Jasonville, IN and Ed & Terry Simon of Canton, OH; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Elmer Henry Blanton; sister, Berniece Bastain.
Margaret was a homemaker. She was a member of the Jasonville Church of Christ Church. She loved her family! She also loved being born and raised on the family farm where she lived most of her life..
Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home; 218 South Meridian Street; Jasonville, Indiana with Visitation scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. service time Monday at the Funeral Home. Funeral Services are 2 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Cox Funeral Home with Bro. Warren Shake officiating.
Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, IN.
