Son of Robert and Florence Salter He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Henrietta; sons, Howard Salter, Jr., Bobby Salter and wife Helen; daughters, Norma Bone, Cynthia Poncio and husband Nick; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Howard proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was also a lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion, and the Disabled American Veterans.
