Aunt Katie was my Dad's older sister. She was little, but mighty. She ran a boarding house until well into her golden years, caring for other elderly folks. After she retired from this, she would come to stay with my Dad occasionally for some extended visits. I enjoyed her company so much - she would sit in the rocking chair and rock and we would talk about anything and everything. My little girls loved her too.

She was a real cutie and a sweet little lady. God rest her.
