Ollie C. Wood, age 99, died Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at Bracken County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Augusta, Kentucky. He was born on May 27, 1915, to the late Claude and Maude Collins Wood. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles #1564 and Chatham Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Marie Boothe Wood, who he married May 29, 1937.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosella Mae (Joe Mize) Johnson, of Sebring, Florida, Barbara Sue (Frank) Booth, of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Mary Ann (Jerry) Tucker, of Foster, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Carolyn Wood, of Katy, Texas. He was preceded in death by: a son, Robert Allen Wood; a sister, Dorothy Wood; and a brother, Earnest D. Wood.
