Cindy's Death:
After an investigation, the coroner ruled that Lonnie Ray Cooper had shot and killed his wife, Cindy Jennings Cooper, & then had killed himself on 11-5-2009 @ the couple's Gardendale home. It was alleged that Lonnie Cooper had called a family member & had left a message stating that he had killed his wife & was going to kill himself. Family members went to the Cooper residence @ Gardendale, & there they found both victims dead within the home, & authorities were called to the scene to begin their investigation into the apparent murder & suicide case. It was learned that Lonnie Cooper had recently suffered a debilitating stroke prior to these tragic deaths having taken place.
