Florence Elaine (Cone) Hanson, age 93, of River Falls, WI died at her home on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
She was born on March 18, 1920 to Frank and Ada (Hurst) Cone in rural River Falls. She married James Oliver Hanson on December 22, 1938 in River Falls. She worked as a seamstress at Langwear until 1961. Florence volunteered at the Lutheran Home for many years, where she made many friends. She was an active member at the Valley Baptist Church in Lakeland, MN. Florence was a people-person, and loved little children.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband James "Ollie" Oliver, 1 brother and 3 sisters.
Florence is survived by her children Darlene (John) Hanley of River Falls, Doreen Newstrand of South Saint Paul, MN, and Bonnie (Willard) Bennett of River Falls; grandchildren Susan (Jim) Nelson, Mark Hanley, Paul (Cassie) Hanley, Duane (Jill) Hanley, Kelly (Mike) Henry, Colleen (Harold) Watson, Dan (Connie) Bennett, Ron (Sherry Keller) Bennett, Debbie (Mark) Webster; 17 great-grandchildren; and many friends, nieces and nephews.
She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
