Patsy Lee Seagle Fisher, age 67, of Marion, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 5, 2013 at John F. Keever Solace Center in Asheville. A native of McDowell County, Patsy was born March 22, 1946 and was a daughter of the late George Garland Seagle and Nora Hawkins Seagle. Patsy was a member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church. Her family was very dear to her and she loved them very much. Preceding her in death was a son, Keith "Cooter" Fisher and a brother, Sonny Seagle.
Surviving Mrs. Fisher are four children: Scott Fisher and wife Ginger, Chris Fisher, Tammy Foreman and Matthew Fisher, all of Marion; two brothers, Jim Seagle and Donald Seagle, both of Marion; two sisters, Shirley Ollis and Vivian Seagle, both of Marion; ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. And a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fisher will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Ray Stockton officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Murphy's Chapel Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to John F. Keever Solace Center, 21 Belvedere Road, Asheville, N. C. 28803.
