Alice was born on December 3, 1916 in Downey, California. She died peacefully with family at her side in her home in Pine Grove, Ca. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2005, after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Alice Insko was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Chaplain Myron C. Insko, USN (Ret) and their son Richard. She is survived by six children: Marcia Sallee, of Monroe, Utah; Myron Dean Insko of San Diego, Ca.; Allan Insko of Bonita, Ca.; Nancy Poe of Sacramento, Ca.; Susan Holtan of Lake Elsinore, Ca.; and Eric Insko of New York.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Jackson United Methodist Church on Sat. Feb. 5, 2005 at 1 p.m. with the Reverend Alex Cambre/Sandra Exelby officiating.

Her remains were interred in her family's plot in the old Santa Ana Cemetery. Memorial gifts in her name may be sent to the National Association for the Visually Handicapped, 3201 Balboa St., San Francisco, Ca 94121.
