Frank Edward Bergren, 70, died at his home north of Lakeside. He had been working in his yard when he was suddenly taken ill. He died a short time later.

He was born in Volga, Wis. to Charles and Charlotte Bergren.

On October 19, 1915, he was married to Helen M. Gardner at Chinook.

Survivors included his wife, Helen; two sons, Bernard and Frank Jr.; three daughters, Mrs. O'Toole, Mrs. McGuire and Mrs. Doughton; eighteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Andrew; four sisters, Mrs. Devine, Mrs. Peterson, Mrs. Ekegren and Mrs. Holmquist.
