Funeral Services for Mr. Joe David Adams, age 83, were 2 p.m. Monday May 26 in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home with Brother Clarence DeLoach officiating. His remains were buried in Dickson County Memorial Gardens. Dickson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Adams died Saturday, May 24, 2003 in Horizon Medical Center.
A native of Dickson, Tenn., he was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Adams and Tildie Eldridge. He was a retired machine operator for Leather's Manufacturing Company.
Survivors are: his wife, Dollie B. Adams of Dickson; three sons, David Adams, Jimmy Adams, and Eddie Adams, all of Dickson; two daughters, Carolyn Balthrop and Delores Story, both of Dickson; step-daughter, Betty Miles of Dickson; three sisters, Vergie Moore of Nashville, Tennessee; Mary Alice Neblitt, and Effie Lou Moran, both of Dickson; 11 grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, three step-great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
