Tracy Jo Futato Olson, 38, went to meet her Lord on Friday, April 24, 2009 in Houston, TX, after a long fight with leukemia. Tracy was a devoted wife and loving mother. She greatly valued service to others, her close family, and many friendships. Tracy was a 1988 graduate of New Albany High School. She attended Mississippi State University for Women where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She worked at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi, and in the New Albany Schools during her nursing career. Tracy was active and loved dearly in her community. She was a member of the New Albany Garden Club and the Historic Northside Garden Club. As a member of the New Albany First United Methodist Church, she served on and chaired multiple committees. Burial will be in the Vista Memorial Park.
