William Allison, aged 42 years, and Miss Olive Anderson, aged 31, of Dexter, were married Monday afternoon in the parsonage of All Souls Universalist church. Miss Anderson is a younger sister of Mr. Allison's first wife, Miss Bessie Anderson, who died four years ago.
Mr. Allison and Miss Bessie Anderson were married 19 years ago. Both were natives of Dexter, Miss Anderson being the daughter of the late Warren Anderson. Mrs. Allison died in 1909.
Dexter friends knew that Mr. Allison and his widow's sister were friendly, and their marriage occasioned no surprise, it was said today. They were unattended at the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. Harry Westbrook Reed, pastor of All Souls church. They left Monday afternoon for a short wedding trip, after which they will make their home in Dexter.
Mr. Allison is proprietor of a livery stable at Dexter. Both are well known and have large circles of friends. Mr. Allison has one daughter, Miss Lea Allison, aged 17 years.
