Minnie Stump, 86, of Gerrardstown, passed away on Monday, August 5, 2013, at the Berkeley Medical Center.

Born March 6, 1927 in Grant County, she was the daughter of the late Andy C. Alt and Edna F. (Ketterman) Alt.

She is survived by
her husband, Ersel G. Stump;
one son, Raymond G. Stump and wife, Elaine, of Gerrardstown;
one daughter, Pauline J. Birmingham and husband, Dale, of Martinsburg;
three grandchildren,
Melissa Stump,
Tony Custer,
Angela Nine and husband, Steven;
three great-grandchildren,
Tyler, Catie, and Jonathan Nine;
two brothers,
Charles and Loy Alt, both of Baltimore;
two sisters,
Ruth Helmick, of Martinsburg and
Mary Ann Miller, of Fredericksburg, VA.
She is also survived by her caregiver, Renee Worthman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, 2013 at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God with Pastor Hersel Bennett officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant View Memory Gardens.

Family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8th, at Brown Funeral Home's South Berkeley Chapel in Inwood.

In lieu of flowers, family requests honorary donations be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 122 Wverly Court WV 25403.
