John William McCutcheon, age 85 of Rockwall, TX, passed away August 5, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 20, 1927 in Dallas, TX, to Robert Joshua & Ava (Andrews) McCutcheon. John attended Woodrow Wilson and Pleasant Grove High Schools and Tarleton College in Stephenville. He served in the U.S. Air Force during WWII and the Korean War. John was retired from AT&T and was a member of Pleasant Grove Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife: Norma; son: John, Jr. & wife Sarah; precious granddaughter: Allyson; brother: Robert McCutcheon; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Pleasant Grove Christian Church in Dallas. Interment to follow that afternoon at 2:00pm, in DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Make A Wish Foundation or Pleasant Grove Christian Church.
