Mrs. Carrie E. Shepp, age 37, died of tuberculosis at 4:45 o'clock this morning at the home of her brother, Ed Adams, 326 south Fairview street. She had been ill for 10 years.

Mrs. Shepp was a school teacher before she became afflicted with the disease. She spent 8 years in a sanitarium at Denver, Colo., but for the past year and a half had lived with her brother in this city. She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic church.

Besides the brother with whom she lived, she is survived by a daughter, Phylis [sic] Hazel, age 13; a son, WIlliam Edward, age 11, and three other brothers, William Adams of Bloomington, John Adams of Vincennes and James Adams of Whiting.

The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock Friday night at the home of her brother. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at the St. Charles Catholic church, with Father P. A. Deery officiating. Burial will be in Clear Creek cemetery.

The body will lie in state at the home until 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning.
