Pareen, born in 1845, was the daughter of James M Boyd (1811-1883) and Lapina Bloyd (1811-1870) of Spencer County, Indiana. Pareen's sisters were Elizabeth Boyd Mattingly (1832-1898), Isabel Boyd (1833-1911), Malinda or Millinder Boyd Mattingly (1838-1916), and Minerva Boyd (1836-1846).

30 September 1874, Pareen married Phillip Logsdon, in Spencer County, Indiana. Phillip was the widower of Pareen's cousin, Elizabeth Hunsaker. Pareen and Phillip had 2 children: Presston Logsdon (1875-1939) and Moravia Logsdon Semple (1878-1921). Phillip died sometime between 1878 and 1880. Pareen and her children went and lived with her father and sister, Isabel.

5 October 1887, Pareen married Isaac Bennett in Spencer County, Indiana. They had one son, Isaac N Bennett (1888-1912). They continued living in Spencer County, Indiana until 1910 where they are found in the census records.

Dies at Masonic Home
Mrs. Perene Bennett died at the Masonic home in Franklin early Monday morning at the age of 84 years. The remains were brought to Eureka where funeral services were conducted by Rev. S. E. Stroud at the M. E. church at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The burial was in the Richardson cemetery.
Mrs. Bennett was the mother of Press Logsdon of Luce township.
